Keystone Symposia returns with animal and human health webinar on June 25, register now!

After successfully hosting the “Drug Discover in Africa” webinar which was highly appreciated by participants on 5th June 2015, the Keystone Symposia will return with its second webinar for the month of June titled Leveraging Genomic Diversity To Promote Animal and Human Health.

The webinar which as usual will feature a live question and answer session, will be held on Tuesday, 25th June 2019 from 13:30 – 15:00 South African Standard time.

In the webinar, Dr. Michele Ramsay of Wits University, South Africa and other panelists from prestigious institutions across the globe will discuss interesting themes and issues around the animal and human health including on limits to animal breeding using a genomic approach, using practices in animal breeding to think about public precision medicine and the question on whether genetic diversity impacts the transferability of knowledge from one population to another.

Prospective participants are encouraged to register for free and watch the event live as well as participate in a live question and answer with the panelists. Participants can also submit questions during the broadcast via Twitter or in advance when registering for the event.
