The global research and education community is from 16-20th June 2019 set to converge in Tallinn, Estonia for one of the biggest global networking conference, TNC, the annual conference of GEANT, the pan European Research and Education Network.
TNC19, the 35th edition of the of the series of conferences will be held under the theme: Forging Digital Societies and hosted by EENet of HITSA, the Estonian Education and Research Network.
UbuntuNet Alliance is expected to attend the flagship conference and be part of some high profile events and workshops at the meeting. For the second year running, the Alliance will be sending representatives to the Emerging NREN Programme, a recently launched initiative by GEANT where professionals from European and global emerging NRENs will be peered with the aim of integrating them into the vibrant international Research and Education community.
Other interesting events are also lined up for the conference including the SIG- Marcomms and Global PR Network joint meeting where participants deliberate and agree on initiatives and strategies aimed at enhancing communication and increasing the visibility of NRENs and their impacts on the society.
