A team of 25 speakers comprising researchers, NREN engineers and staff and university staff and students from across the global Research and Education Community will present papers on various topics related to positioning research and education during the UbuntuNet-Connect 2020 conference.
UbuntuNet-Connect 2020, the 11th edition of the annual networking conference of UbuntuNet Alliance, will be held online from 18-20 November 2020 under the theme: Positioning Research and Education During Crises.
The theme of the conference aims to take stock of lessons learnt from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the research and education networking and gauge the preparedness of the community in the event of similar or different crises in the future.
Now a full programme containing a detailed agenda of the conference has been published on the UbuntuNet Alliance website.
The programme features presentations and talks from 25 presenters drawn from the global NREN community.
The presenters will share ideas, experiences and best practices on the four conference sub-themes of off-campus connectivity and innovation; Policy, Governance and Partnerships; services and tools and best practices in e-learning.
The conference will also feature two day online hands-on training workshops in eduroam and Trust Identity as part of preconference activities. Registration for the conference is still open.
