UbuntuNet Alliance wishes to announce that the 2015 Annual General Meeting of Members, the 9th Council of Members Meeting will be held on 27th March 2015 at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe, Malawi. A major item at this upcoming AGM will be election of Trustees for a 2 year term of office, as that of the current Trustees, who were elected at the 7th Council of Members Meeting in Kampala, Uganda, comes to the end.
Preceding the AGM are a series of events including the final AfricaConnect Administrative and Technical Meetings on 24th March; Workshop on Procurement and Contracts Management on 25th March, the 37th UbuntuNet Alliance Board Meeting on 26th March; and closed meetings to finalise documentation and plans for the successor project AfricaConnect2, which is expected to kick in after the current one wraps up.
