Experts in various designations in the Eastern and Southern African Research and Education community can now take advantage of the various capacity-building webinars UbuntuNet Alliance has lined up for 2021 to help build the capacity of NREN personnel.
UbuntuNet Alliance plans to organize and hold at least 7 webinars between now and December 2021 for education and research experts in a bid to train them in various fields.
The webinars are a continuation of similar events UbuntuNet Alliance organized and held last year which saw facilitators from the regional research and education networks and its partners training attendees in instructional design in e-learning; NREN Cloud building; learning management systems; web conferencing tools; as well network security among other areas.
For 2021, the Alliance will organize webinars on NREN NOC Service desk management; NREN leadership; network security; edu services (eduroam, eduID, eduVPN eduMEET); communication and marketing for NRENs; and Trust Identity among other webinars. A full line up of the events is available here.
