UbuntuNet Alliance and the Research and Education Network for Academic and Learning Activities, iRENALA, the NREN of Madagascar and the host of UbuntuNet-Connect 2019 are pleased to announce that the flagship conference will be held at the 5-Star Carlton Hotel in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

The conference, which will be held on 31st October – 1st November 2019, is the 12th edition of the high profile networking conference whose first edition was held in Lilongwe, Malawi in 2008.

 The theme for the conference this year is: “NRENs: Facilitating Research and Education Collaboration in the Digital Space.

The conference will be held at the magnificent 5- star Carlton Hotel, located in the City Centre of Antananarivo and within a 45- minute drive from the Ivato International Airport. The hotel is also located on the banks of the Anosy lake, close to the historical center of Antananarivo.

Carlton Hotel boosts of a modern conference hall that can take up to 500 participants and the hall has a suitable and wider exhibition space for sponsors or organisation that may want to mount stands and showcase their products to participants.
