It’s open now; you can register for the WACREN 2020 Conference and the Annual General Meeting slated for March 19 and 20 in Benin chief city – Cotonou.
There are many exciting things about this year’s event; one of which is, WACREN would commemorate its 10th anniversary. Also, WACREN will officially announce the new NRENs that are now connected to the WACREN backbone, giving the academic community in these countries access to unlimited knowledge for unlimited possibilities.
Stakeholders of research and education network (REN) across the WACREN region and beyond will gather around the theme ‘Digital Transformation for Development’. Participants are expected to be enlightened as various presenters share research data, experiences and knowledge on topics related to the theme for the event.

Hotel Golden Tulip Le Diplomate Cotonou is the venue for the Conference. The negotiated room rate at Golden Tulip is 90,000 FCFA (approximatively 140 EUR or 150 USD), for bed and breakfast.
