Women History’s Month is celebrated globally all March long. GÉANT launched their annual #WomenInSTEM campaign to celebrate the achievements and successes of the women in STEM in the global research and education community. As part of the campaign, a video that featured prominent women in STEM from around the world was produced and three women from the African continent were featured.
Three outstanding women in STEM from the African continent feature in this welcome video: Prof. Farida Fassi, Professor of Physics at Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco and Researcher at the ATLAS Experiment at CERN; Eng. Violet I. Massawe from Tanzania’s Research and Education Network, TERNET; and i RENALA President of the Administrative and Technical Council per interim, Harinaina R. Ravelomanantsoa.
