The UbuntuNet Alliance has extended the deadline for receiving Abstracts for presentation at the UbuntuNet-Connect 2015 from 15 August to 31st August 2015.
UbuntuNet -Connect is a series of annual conferences organised by UbuntuNet Alliance and hosted by NREN Members. This year, hosted by MoRENet, the Mozambican NREN, the conference will be held in Maputo, Mozambique from 19-20 November 2015 under the theme, ‘Beyond Connectivity-the Road to NREN Maturity.’
As per tradition, authors from various research and education communities have been invited to submit abstracts of their proposed unpublished work that, if accepted, will lead to their papers being published in the conference’s proceedings.
And to give authors ample time to send their abstracts, the Alliance has extended the deadline for submission of Abstracts from the initial date of 15 August to 31 August 2015.
While abstracts should preferably address a set of sub-themes, prospective authors are encouraged to submit any contribution that is interesting and relevant to research and education networking. Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts of not more than 500 words to info@ubuntunet.net not later that 31st August 2015. Details on the extended Call for Papers for the UbuntuNet-Connect 2015 can be found here.
Last year, during the UbuntuNet-Connect 2014 held in Lusaka, Zambia, over 70 authors submitted their abstracts from which 30 papers were selected for presentation and subsequently published in the conference proceedings which can be accessed here.
